Designation/Title: Product Specialist / Senior Product Specialist

Reports To: Sr. Manager – PLM/ Associate Manager – PLM/ Manager – PLM / Business Unit Head

Role: Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze competitive marketplace and industry trends to accordingly develop products
  • Understand and analyze Business needs and requirements
  • Coordinate with delivery teams in product development activities
  • Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct product training to the Business Development team
  • Provide support for marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and other promotional activities
  • Assist in release activities
  • Obtain customer feedback and suggest appropriate product revisions
  • Address customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, and market dynamics
  • Create Epics (Features), User Stories (Product Backlogs) and define acceptance criteria
  • Prepare prototypes / mock-ups / wireframes
  • Actively involve in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and enable the sprint team in achieving the Sprint Goals
  • Maintain complete documentation including User Manual for all product-related activities
  • Perform gate reviews during the delivery process
  • Assist in deriving and validating Test Scenarios  
  • Prepare and Review the Traceability Matrix
  • Perform Functional Review of the product
  • Report and Track Defects
  • Deliver solutions on time and on budget
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation/contingency plans
  • Compliance to the process defined by the organization
  • Update the tasks on a daily basis
  • Support deployment of releases
  • Communicate effectively with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Collaborate with vendors to fix and improve products
  • Exhibit eagerness/enthusiasm towards learning continuously
  • Adapt to the changing environment needs
  • Exhibit excellent organization and problem-solving skills
